Georg Günther

Georg Günther is a German politician who has served as a member of the German Bundestag since 2025. Born in 1988, he grew up in Greifswald and Griebenow before pursuing a career in public administration. He holds a degree in tax management from the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration, Police and Legal Services in Güstrow and previously worked for the tax office in Stralsund. Politically active with the Junge Union since 2007, he has held leadership roles within the organization at both the district and state levels. After running as a direct candidate in the 2021 and 2025 federal elections, he secured his seat in the 21st German Bundestag via the party's state list.
