Mareike Hermeier

Mareike Hermeier is a German politician and a member of the Bundestag, representing the constituency of Steinfurt I – Borken I. Born in 1989, she was elected to the German federal parliament in 2025 via the North Rhine-Westphalia state list for the party Die Linke (The Left). Prior to her parliamentary career, she worked as a wholesale merchant and was actively involved in local politics as a member of the Steinfurt district executive committee and as a delegate to federal party conferences. She is a single mother and currently serves as a representative for her party in the federal legislature.
