Gerald Giam Yean Song is a Singaporean politician who has served as a Member of Parliament for the Aljunied Group Representation Constituency since 2020. A member of the Workers' Party, he previously served as a Non-Constituency Member of Parliament from 2011 to 2015. Before entering politics, Giam worked in the information technology industry as a consultant and project manager, and served as a foreign service officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California and a Master of Science in international political economy from Nanyang Technological University. Giam is known for his focus on policy research and currently serves as the Head of Policy Research for the Workers' Party Central Executive Committee.
