Gerald Edward Greene is an American politician serving as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing the 154th District. First elected to the state legislature in 1982, he has maintained a long-standing career in Georgia politics. Greene gained national attention in 2017 following an incident in which he was shot while traveling with storm relief funds. He continues to serve his constituents in the Georgia House, where he has been re-elected numerous times throughout his tenure.
