Gichuki Edwin Mugo is a Kenyan politician and Member of the National Assembly representing the Mathioya Constituency under the United Democratic Alliance party banner. Prior to his political career, he worked extensively in administrative and financial roles for the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations in Somalia and South Sudan. He holds a PhD in Business Administration (Finance Option) from Kenya Methodist University, as well as an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Nairobi, and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya.
