Gideon Boako is a Ghanaian financial economist and politician currently serving as the Member of Parliament for the Tano North constituency in the Ahafo Region. A member of the New Patriotic Party, he was elected in the 2024 Ghanaian general election after defeating the incumbent. Prior to his parliamentary career, he served as a technical advisor on Ghana's Economic Management Team and as a spokesperson for the Vice President of Ghana. He holds a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Witwatersrand and has extensive academic credentials in financial economics and risk management.
