Gideon Sa'ar

Gideon Sa'ar is an Israeli politician who served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs. A long-time figure in Israeli politics, he was first elected to the Knesset in 2003 as a member of the Likud party. Throughout his career, he has held several senior cabinet positions, including Minister of Education, Minister of the Interior, and Minister of Justice. After a period of political independence with his New Hope party, he rejoined Likud in 2025. Sa'ar is known for his conservative stance on national security and his opposition to the two-state solution.
