Gilda Cobb-Hunter

Gilda Cobb-Hunter is an American politician serving as a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives. Representing District 95, she holds the distinction of being the first African American woman elected to the State House from Orangeburg County. Throughout her career, she has served as the 1st Vice Chair of the House Ways and Means Committee. Beyond her legislative work, she is a social work administrator and has served as the executive director of CASA Family Services since 1985.
