Gloria Macapagal Arroyo

Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is a Filipino politician and academic who served as the 14th President of the Philippines from 2001 to 2010. Before her presidency, she held the offices of Vice President and Senator. An economist by training, she began her career as a professor at Ateneo de Manila University before entering government service in 1987. Throughout her long political career, she has held various leadership roles, including Speaker of the House of Representatives. She currently serves as the representative for the 2nd district of Pampanga, continuing a legacy of public service that spans several decades.
