Gloria Mendoza is an American politician and businesswoman currently serving as a member of the Washington House of Representatives for the 14th district. Born in Mexico and raised in Grandview, Washington, she previously served on the Grandview City Council from 2013 to 2018 and as the city's first Latina mayor from 2018 to 2023. A business owner who founded the GMC Training Institute, Mendoza transitioned into state-level politics following her tenure in local government. She assumed her seat in the state legislature in 2024.
