Gloristine Brown is an American politician serving as a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives for the 8th district, representing parts of Pitt County. A member of the Democratic Party, she was first elected to the state legislature in 2022. In addition to her legislative duties, Brown has served as the mayor of Bethel, North Carolina, since 2014 and has been a member of the Bethel Town Board since 1999. She also holds a leadership role as the vice chairwoman of the Pitt Community College Board of Trustees.
