Gombojavyn Zandanshatar

Gombojavyn Zandanshatar is a Mongolian politician who served as the 32nd Prime Minister of Mongolia from June 2025 to March 2026. A member of the Mongolian People's Party, he previously held significant roles including Chairman of the State Great Khural from 2019 to 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Chief Cabinet Secretary. Educated in financial economics at Irkutsk State University and Maastricht University, he also worked in the banking sector and as a visiting scholar at Stanford University. His tenure as Prime Minister was marked by efforts to implement budget austerity and address economic challenges before his resignation in March 2026.
