A veteran of the United States Marine Corps Reserve, Rothman previously represented the 87th district in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2015 to 2022. In addition to his legislative career, he was elected chairman of the Pennsylvania Republican Party in 2025. Throughout his career, he has focused on issues such as tax policy, election law reform, and public health legislation.
