Gregor Robertson is a Canadian politician and businessman currently serving as a Member of Parliament for Vancouver Fraserview—South Burnaby and as the Minister of Housing, Infrastructure and Pacific Economic Development Canada. Previously, he served as the 39th mayor of Vancouver from 2008 to 2018, where he became known for his focus on environmental sustainability through the Greenest City 2020 Action Plan and his efforts to address homelessness. Before his mayoral tenure, he was a Member of the Legislative Assembly for Vancouver-Fairview representing the New Democratic Party. Robertson holds a degree in English and Biology from the University of British Columbia and co-founded the organic beverage company Happy Planet.
