Gregory Scholz is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Rhineland-Palatinate, representing the constituency of Ludwigshafen am Rhein II since 2023. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), he has served as the General Secretary of the SPD in Rhineland-Palatinate since 2025. Before entering state politics, Scholz worked as a teacher of social studies and French, and held various leadership roles within the local SPD organization in Oppau and the Vorderpfalz region. He is also active in local government as a member of the Oppau local advisory council.
