Guido Castelli

Guido Castelli is an Italian politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of the Republic. Since January 2023, he has also held the position of Extraordinary Government Commissioner for the reconstruction of territories affected by the 2016 and 2017 earthquakes in Central Italy. A lawyer by profession, Castelli previously served as the Mayor of Ascoli Piceno from 2009 to 2019 and as a regional councilor and assessor for the Marche region. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent figure in local government and regional administration, focusing on financial policy and local autonomy.
