Gyula Kovács is a Hungarian politician and medical doctor who has served as a Member of the National Assembly for the Bács-Kiskun 4th constituency since 2026. Raised in Izsák, he spent two decades working as a general practitioner and gastroenterologist before entering national politics. In the 2026 parliamentary election, he ran as a candidate for the TISZA Party, successfully defeating the incumbent representative Sándor Lezsák with 50.70% of the vote. Previously, he served as a local government representative between 1998 and 2002.
