Hélio Leite

Hélio Leite is a Brazilian politician and businessman currently serving as the Mayor of Castanhal, having been elected to the position in 2024. Throughout his extensive political career, he has served as a city councilor, deputy mayor, and state representative. He also served multiple terms as a federal deputy in the Chamber of Deputies, where he supported the impeachment of Dilma Rousseff and voted in favor of the 2017 labor reform. Additionally, he held the position of Secretary of Science, Technology, and Professional Education for the state of Pará in 2023.
