Hanif Dhakiri

Muhammad Hanif Dhakiri is an Indonesian politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the Central Java X electoral district for the 2024–2029 term. A prominent figure in the National Awakening Party (PKB), he previously served as the Minister of Manpower in the Working Cabinet from 2014 to 2019 and as acting Minister of Youth and Sports in 2019. Before his ministerial tenure, he was a member of the House of Representatives from 2009 to 2014. An activist with a background in Nahdlatul Ulama, Dhakiri has held various leadership roles, including Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) and Secretary General of the PKB. He is also a prolific writer on topics ranging from politics and labor to Islamic thought.
