Hanifah Hajar Taib is a Malaysian politician and businesswoman who has served as the Member of Parliament for Mukah since 2018. She currently holds the position of Deputy Minister of Economy in the Unity Government, having assumed the role in December 2022. Previously, she served as the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of Sabah and Sarawak Affairs. Before entering politics, she held various executive roles, including CEO of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology and director at several corporations. She is the daughter of the late Abdul Taib Mahmud, the former Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Sarawak.
