Hanna Zdanowska

Hanna Zdanowska is a Polish politician and the current Mayor of Łódź, a position she has held since 2010. A graduate of the Lodz University of Technology with a degree in environmental engineering, she previously worked in the clothing industry and as a director at the Łódź Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Before her election as mayor, she served as a member of the Sejm and as a deputy mayor of Łódź. Throughout her tenure, she has focused on urban revitalization projects, including the development of the New Centre of Łódź and significant infrastructure improvements. She is a member of the Civic Platform party and has been re-elected multiple times, most recently in 2024.
