Hannes Schernthaner

Hannes Schernthaner is an Austrian politician and member of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). He has served as the Mayor of Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße since 2014 and has been a member of the Salzburg Landtag since 2018. Before his full-time political career, he worked as an administrative assistant and specialist for the district authority of Zell am See. In addition to his legislative and mayoral duties, he serves as the president of the Salzburg Civil Protection Association and holds various supervisory board positions in regional infrastructure and housing organizations.
