Hans Edvard Askjer

Hans Edvard Askjer is a Norwegian politician representing the Christian Democratic Party (KrF). He was elected to the Storting in the 2025 Norwegian parliamentary election. Prior to his national legislative service, Askjer was deeply involved in local politics, serving on the Skien city council starting in 2007 and holding the position of deputy mayor of Telemark county from 2015 to 2019. He continues to be an active figure in Norwegian regional and national governance.
