Hans Theiss

Hans Theiss is a German politician and cardiologist who has served as a member of the Bundestag since the 2025 federal elections, representing the Munich North district. A member of the Christian Social Union (CSU) since 2002, he previously served as a city councillor in Munich from 2014 to 2025, where he focused on health policy. In the Bundestag, he serves on the Health Committee and the Committee on Research, Technology, Space and Technology Assessment, acting as his parliamentary group's rapporteur on biotechnology and the Max Planck Society.
