Hartwig Jourdan is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Hesse, representing the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Born in Darmstadt in 1966, he is a master farmer by profession. Jourdan has been a long-standing member of the Darmstadt City Council since 1997, where he served as the leader of the CDU parliamentary group for over six years starting in 2011. He assumed his seat in the Hessian state parliament on April 2, 2025, succeeding Jan-Wilhelm Pohlmann.
