Haruna Iddrisu is a Ghanaian lawyer and politician currently serving as the Minister for Education and as the Member of Parliament for the Tamale South constituency. A prominent member of the National Democratic Congress, he has held several ministerial portfolios, including Minister for Communications, Minister for Trade and Industry, and Minister for Employment and Labour Relations. Throughout his career, he has been a significant figure in Ghanaian parliamentary politics, notably serving as the Minority Leader from 2017 to 2023. Beyond his political career, Iddrisu is a barrister and a football enthusiast who owns the clubs Karela United and Steadfast FC.
