Andrew Asiamah Amoako is a Ghanaian politician and lawyer who currently serves as a Member of Parliament for the Fomena Constituency and as the Second Deputy Speaker of the 8th Parliament of Ghana. Originally a member of the New Patriotic Party, he successfully ran as an independent candidate in the 2020 general elections after a dispute regarding party primaries. He is notable for being the first independent candidate in the history of Ghana to be elected as a Deputy Speaker of Parliament. Before his political career, he worked as a legal practitioner and held various roles in land and estate management.
