Hassan Bakhit Djamous is a Chadian politician and legal expert who has served as the Minister of the Environment, Fisheries and Sustainable Development since October 2024. Born in 1993, he is recognized as one of the youngest ministers in the history of the Republic of Chad. Before his ministerial appointment, he worked as an economic advisor to the President of the Transition and as Deputy Director General of Taxes. He is a member of the Patriotic Salvation Movement and holds advanced degrees in public finance, tax law, and customs law from institutions in France and Morocco.
