Fatimé Goukouni Weddeye

Fatimé Goukouni Weddeye is a Chadian politician currently serving as the Minister of Transport, Civil Aviation and Meteorology. The daughter of former Chadian President Goukouni Weddeye, she previously held the position of Deputy Director General of the National Agency for Investment and Exports (ANIE). Since 2022, she has held various ministerial portfolios within the transitional governments of Chad, including roles focused on land transport and road safety. She continues to play an active role in regional integration efforts, such as the tripartite forum between the Central African Republic, Chad, and Cameroon.
