Tahir Hamid Nguilin

Tahir Hamid Nguilin is a Chadian politician and economist currently serving as a Minister of State in the government of Chad. He holds the portfolios of Finance, Budget, Economy, Planning, and International Cooperation. Educated in accounting and finance at the Catholic University of Central Africa in Cameroon, he previously served as the Director General of Sotel Tchad and as Vice-Governor of the Bank of Central African States. Before his ministerial appointment in 2019, he managed the Société des hydrocarbures du Tchad, where he oversaw significant debt negotiations. He has remained a key figure in the Chadian government through multiple cabinet reshuffles, including the Halina II government formed in 2025.
