Heath MacDonald is a Canadian politician currently serving as the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, a position he has held since 2025. A member of the Liberal Party, he was elected to represent the electoral district of Malpeque in the House of Commons during the 2021 federal election. Prior to his federal career, MacDonald served in the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island from 2015 to 2021, where he held several cabinet portfolios, including Minister of Economic Development and Tourism and Minister of Finance. Before entering politics, he worked as a tourism operator and as the executive director of Quality Tourism Services.
