Heather Meyer

Heather Meyer is an American politician and social worker currently serving as a member of the Kansas House of Representatives for the 29th district. Born in 1980 in Kansas City, Missouri, she was raised in Olathe, Kansas, and holds degrees in social work from the University of Kansas. Meyer assumed office in 2021 and has focused her legislative work on health and human services, insurance, and water policy. She is notable for being the first openly bisexual member of the Kansas House of Representatives and has advocated for policies such as capping insulin prices.
