Heather Simmons

Heather Simmons is an American politician and public relations professional currently serving as a member of the New Jersey General Assembly for the 3rd legislative district, having taken office in January 2024. Before her election to the state legislature, she served for over a decade as a Gloucester County Commissioner, a position she first attained through appointment in 2011 and subsequently held through multiple re-elections. Professionally, Simmons works as an assistant vice president at Rowan University and has a background in journalism and communications. She is a graduate of Saint Joseph's University.
