Heidi Strauss

Heidi Strauss is an Austrian politician and a member of the Landtag of Upper Austria, representing the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). Born in Gmunden, she began her career as an office clerk for the municipality of Altmünster before working in the construction department of the municipality of Weißkirchen an der Traun, where she eventually served as deputy head of the office. Since entering state politics in 2021, she has served on various committees, including those for security, social affairs, women's issues, and the environment. She is also actively involved in local politics in Marchtrenk, holding positions in cultural and youth affairs.
