Heiko Gehring is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Brandenburg. Born in 1971 in Sangerhausen, he worked for many years as a mason and in various sales and management roles before entering politics. He joined the Alternative for Germany (AfD) in 2018 and has served in local government, including as a member of the Velten city council and the Oberhavel district council. In January 2026, he assumed his seat in the Brandenburg state parliament, succeeding the late Kathleen Muxel.
