Heinrich Himmer

Heinrich Himmer is an Austrian politician and trade unionist who has served as a member of the National Council since October 2024. A member of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ), he previously held significant roles in education administration, including serving as the Education Director for Vienna from 2019 to 2024. Before his full-time political career, Himmer worked as a personnel manager and teacher. In the National Council, he serves as the party's spokesperson for education and science, and he also chairs the SPÖ district organization in Simmering.
