Helen Kerwin

Helen Kerwin is an American politician serving as a member of the Texas House of Representatives for the 58th district since 2025. Before her election to the state legislature, she served as the mayor of Glen Rose and as a member of the Somervell County Commission, where she was the first Republican elected to that position. A business owner with a background in the hospitality industry, Kerwin has operated the Country Woods Inn since 1980. In the legislature, she has focused on issues such as environmental regulation, including the introduction of legislation to address PFAS contamination in fertilizers.
