Hemant Katare

Hemant Katare is an Indian politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Ater constituency in Madhya Pradesh. He is the son of the late Satyadev Katare, a former Leader of the Opposition and Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh. In addition to his legislative duties, he has held the position of Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. His political career has been marked by significant legal challenges, including allegations of abduction and rape, which he has contested by claiming political motivation and false accusations.
