Henk Jan Bolding

Henk Jan Bolding is a Dutch administrator and politician affiliated with the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA). He served as the mayor of the municipality of Het Hogeland from 2020 until his retirement in 2025, having previously acted as the interim mayor starting in 2019. Before his mayoral tenure, Bolding held significant administrative roles, including serving as the provincial secretary of Groningen from 2001 to 2018 and as the municipal secretary of Lelystad. He holds a degree in law from Utrecht University and a Master of Public Administration from the Netherlands School of Public Administration.
