Henk Vermeer

Henk Vermeer is a Dutch politician who has served as the leader of the Farmer–Citizen Movement (BBB) since February 2026, succeeding Caroline van der Plas. A co-founder of the party in 2019, he previously worked as an advertising agency director and served as a municipal councillor in Harderwijk. Elected to the House of Representatives in 2023, Vermeer has acted as the party's spokesperson for various portfolios, including economic affairs, finance, and foreign policy. He is also recognized for his role as a campaign leader and his involvement in parliamentary committees, including his position as Fifth Deputy Speaker.
