Henri Falcón is a Venezuelan politician, lawyer, and former military officer who currently serves as a member of the National Assembly of Venezuela. Throughout his career, he has held significant executive positions, including serving as the Governor of Lara State from 2008 to 2017 and as the Mayor of the Iribarren Municipality from 2000 to 2008. Originally associated with the Bolivarian movement, Falcón later transitioned to the political opposition, founding the Avanzada Progresista party and later the movement now known as HF Venezuela. He was a prominent presidential candidate in the 2018 Venezuelan general election and remains a vocal figure in the country's democratic opposition.
