Mervin Maldonado

Mervin Maldonado is a Venezuelan politician currently serving as the President of the Gran Misión Vuelta a la Patria. A public accountant by training, he previously served as the Minister of Youth and Sports of Venezuela across two separate terms, from 2016 to 2017 and again from 2020 to 2024. He also held a seat as a substitute deputy in the National Assembly for the 2016-2021 legislative period. Maldonado is a member of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela and has been involved in various government social programs, including the 1x10 Good Government system in his home state of Mérida.
