Henry Stern

Henry Stern is an American politician serving as a member of the California State Senate, representing the 27th district since 2016. A member of the Democratic Party, he is recognized as the first millennial elected to the California State Senate. Before his legislative career, Stern worked as an environmental attorney, a senior advisor to Senator Fran Pavley, and a law lecturer at UCLA and UC Berkeley. His political platform has focused on environmental protection, clean energy infrastructure, economic development for small businesses, and juvenile justice reform. He is a graduate of Harvard University and the UC Berkeley School of Law.
