Hetifah Sjaifudian is an Indonesian politician and activist serving as a member of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) representing the East Kalimantan electoral district. First elected in 2009, she has focused her legislative work on education, infrastructure, and regional development. A member of the Golkar Party, she has held leadership roles including Vice Chairman of Commission X and Chair of the party's women's wing. Throughout her career, she has advocated for gender equity, the advancement of human resources, and the protection of students against bullying. Before entering politics, she worked extensively as a researcher and consultant for international organizations including the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank.
