西秀記

Hideki Nishi is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Aomori. Born in Aomori City, he graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University and initially worked as an engineer in Tokyo before returning to his hometown in 1998 to join his family's precision instrument business, Nishi Koki Seisakusho. He served as the company's president and later as the vice chairman of the Aomori Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Nishi entered politics in 2023, winning the Aomori mayoral election to succeed Akihiko Onodera, with a focus on regional development and urban revitalization.
