Hina Bokhari

Hina Bokhari is a British politician and educator who has served as a Member of the London Assembly since 2021. In 2024, she became the Leader of the Liberal Democrat group in the London Assembly. Prior to her political career, she worked as a teacher for two decades and founded youth-focused charities, including the Naz Legacy Foundation. A former Merton London Borough Councillor, she is known for her advocacy on building safety, environmental protection, and improving air quality in London. In 2025, she was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for her services to young people, charity, and inter-faith relations.
