Hiroki Abe is a Japanese politician, psychiatrist, and Shinto priest currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in Tsuyazaki (now Fukutsu City), he graduated from Kumamoto University and pursued a medical career, serving as a hospital director before entering politics. He previously served as the Mayor of Tsuyazaki and as a member of the Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly. Initially elected to the national Diet representing the Japan Innovation Party, he later left the party, joined the 'Reform Association' caucus, and subsequently joined the Liberal Democratic Party in late 2025. He was re-elected to the House of Representatives in 2026 and is affiliated with the Aso faction.
