Hit Bahadur Tamang

Hit Bahadur Tamang is a Nepali politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives of Nepal. Born in a peasant family in Panchakanya, Nuwakot, he began his political career with the CPN Unity Center before joining the CPN (Maoist) in 1996. He previously served as the Minister for Youth and Sports in the Khanal cabinet. After unsuccessful bids in 2008 and 2013, he was elected to the federal parliament representing the Nuwakot-1 constituency, defeating senior political figures. He remains an active member of his party's central leadership.
