Hoàng Minh Sơn is a Vietnamese politician and educator currently serving as the Minister of Education and Training and as a Deputy to the National Assembly of Vietnam for the 16th tenure. Born in 1969 in Hung Yen, he holds a doctorate in Control and Automation from the Dresden University of Technology in Germany. Before his ministerial appointment, he held significant academic leadership roles, including President of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Director of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi. He is a member of the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
