Nguyễn Kim Sơn

Nguyễn Kim Sơn is a Vietnamese politician, educator, and Confucian scholar currently serving as a Deputy to the National Assembly of Vietnam. Born in 1966 in Hai Phong, he built a distinguished academic career at Vietnam National University, Hanoi, eventually serving as its President. He previously held the position of Minister of Education and Training from 2021 to 2026. In February 2026, he was appointed as Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission. He is widely recognized for his extensive research on Confucianism and his leadership in higher education reform.
